Single ring chain guide

with the ever increasing popularity of using just one chainring for time trialling, cyclocross and mountain biking, our single ring chain guide is designed to bolt to a braze on front derailleur hanger and provide a lightweight, minimal way of preventing chain drops. With the huge range of chainring sizes that we produce the standard single ring chain guides shown below will only cater for the most popular sizes but we are happy to discuss custom sizes and designs.

(we've included a dimensioned diagram to show the distance of the guides relative to the fixing point. We would recommend checking that distance on your own bike before ordering)

Chain catcher

Fibre-lyte chain catchers are designed to fit braze on deralleur brackets and can be used with standard bolts. They are mechined from 5mm thick carbon fibre and are very light, weighing in at only 5 grams.

Chain guides

Fibre-lyte chain guides are custom machined to order and are typically manufactured from 2mm thick carbon fibre although other thicknesses are available. They can be machined to any diameter and any pcd. Please contact us for prices.

Bash guards / chainring spacers

Similarly to the chain guides, fibre-lyte bash guards are custom machined to order and are typically manufactured from 3mm, 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick carbon fibre or similar thickness carbon fibre / fibreglass laminates depending on customer requirements. They can be machined to any diameter and any pcd and custom designs are possible.

The chainring spacers are designed to replace one of the chainrings on a carbon fibre double crankset for those using single ring setups. The spacers protect the 'feet' of the crankset from twisting forces when the chainring bolts are being torqued.
